Presently, the importance of the polymeric compounds and blends in polymer industries is clear. In fact, preparation of a suitable master batch is a key step in manufacturing polymeric articles. Master batch composes of various components including different polymers, fillers, pigments, stabilizers, plasticizers and so on. There are several challenges for master batch preparation, namely, weak filler dispersion in polymeric matrix and incompatibility of available polymers. They affect mechanical and dynamic properties of the final articles. In this study, the recent achievements for solving above mentioned problems based on nano and other techniques with emphasis on author experiences will be considered and discussed.
