Abstract
When collaborative management of biodiversity is spreading in the world, it is still an idea in some countries. The research considers Iran’s conditions for its activities related to biodiversity conservation and the potential of participatory conservation. The overall objectives of this research are to investigate on relationships, conditions, and situations of Iran’s protected areas, management, and society, as a triangle in the biodiversity conservation of Iran, and to present synergisms for the intricate system of biodiversity and society in the conservation management of Iran. Therefore, the poster highlights collaboration potentials by considering on conservation challenges, management effectiveness, and social capital (ecotourism, the e-society, and local people). However, it will be shaped by strengths, threats, weaknesses, relationship schematic model, logit regression models, cluster analysis, PCA satisfaction factors, a new paradigm for protected areas management, and strategies for participatory conservation.
