Abstract

In this work, copper nanoparticles embedded hydrogel matrix has been prepared and characterized by different techniques such as FT-IR, TEM and XRD, successfully. The catalytic performance of the new synthesized catalyst was investigated in the reduction of aromatic nitro compounds, in the presence of NaBH4 aqueous solution as the source of hydrogen, at room temperature.
