Abstract

A three dimensional pseudocapacitor electrode based on graphene nickel foam decorated with Ni3S2 nanorod arrays is synthesized via a facile, one-pot hydrothermal method. The electrode presents superior electrochemical performance in a three-electrode system with a remarkable capacitance of 1900 Fg-1 at a current density of 1 Ag-1. The cyclic performance is equally excellent with a high capacity of 940 F g-1 after 2000 cycles at 10 Ag-1.
