Industries competitiveness has been regarded as a tool for achieving ideal economic growth and sustainable development while one of the major problems of industry in developing countries is lack of competitiveness. One of the most important reasons of enterprises’ disability in becoming competitive is lack of a precise approach to increase competitiveness. On this basis, designing a communication model between effective factors on competitiveness of small and medium industries has been the aim of this study. Given the aim, this study is applied one and based on methodology, it is causal-descriptive one. The statistical population of this study in the section of identifying effective factors on competitiveness includes all small and medium enterprises in Qazvin Province of Iran. To design competitiveness model, the elites, familiar with the subject, have been also used. To collect data in this study, two questionnaires have been used. This questionnaire has been distributed among statistical population after determining its validity and reliability. To analyze data, Exploratory Factor Analysis and Interpretative-Structural Modeling -ISM- have been used. The findings of the study show that among effective factors on competitiveness, related competitiveness factors with the enterprise’s management and the related ones to the suppliers and resources are the most effective ones on competitiveness of small and medium enterprises. The results also show that related competitiveness factors to the demand and customers are known as an absolute affected component.
