Abstract

Stem cell therapy have extensive applications in regenerative medicine especially within cardiovascular disease. The proliferation and self-healing capability in cardiomyocytes is so limited and that is what makes heart injuries permanent most of the time. This limitation makes a good reason for stem cells therapy to become increasingly important in cardiovascular diseases treatment. Recently Nano medicine, the integration of engineered nanoparticles (NPs) with therapeutic products and medical procedures, is growing so fast. The objectives of the study were to increase nanoparticle trapping efficiency in target side and minimize undesired side effects due to systemic distribution in other organs. Herein, computational fluid dynamics was used for simulation of nanoparticle tracking in a blood vessel using Euler-Lagrangian Method
