Abstract

In this dissertation the simulation of integrated reservoir was compared to its stand-alone simulation which is just a reservoir simulator. Integrated simulation is consist of reservoir, well, pipeline, and surface facilities model. These two simulation methods were compared to know does the integration make the reservoir behavior more real. This is important for precise future forecasting. Different scenarios made for integrated model. The economy of the models is the tool of the comparison. Indices such as NPV, IRR, and MIRR were calculated for decision making of different scenarios. According to the economic and technical the most profitable scenario is selected. This study shows however, the production and economy of the stand-alone simulation shows the better answers than its equivalent integrated model, but changing production scenario in integrated mode can lead us to better techno-economic answer which is closer to reality than stand-alone simulation.
