Abstract
Besides probiotic properties of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, generally Yeasts are good sources of proteins, nucleotides, vitamins and polysaccharides. Use of yeast in aquaculture has special privileges such as the ability to produce easily, fast and cheap with high resistance during the food process. The microbial ecology of the gastro intestinal tract of variety of freshwater and marine fish has been investigated intensively by many researchers during the last decade. One of the best ideas about the Probiotics is the manipulating the gastro intestinal microbiota by adding the Probiotic Yeasts -S. cerevisiae- or bacteria -Lactobacillus, Bacillus and ...- to the water or the food.
