Abstract
The importance of addressing important structures such as dams and their impact on the surrounding environment is not at stake. In fact, one of the most important gates of human construction is the earth\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s dams. The main purpose of designing an embankment dam is to achieve a structure that keeps water on its back. The issue of sustainability of dams is also one of the most important issues that need to be considered in the construction of any embankment dam. Analysis of dam stability, especially at certain stages since the end of the construction of the dam (dewatering primary), drain the tank and the stability analysis of the dam in an earthquake is important, so in this study the stability of static and quasi-static The structure was discussed in the mentioned scenarios. In this study, using software Geostudio (sub SEEP/W and SLOPE/W) based on solving element is restricted, numerical simulation under three scenarios: (a) after construction, (b) the rapid depletion of the reservoir, and (c) the earthquake occurred in A mode. After performing the modeling processes for the above mentioned conditions, due to the reliability coefficients obtained from the method in this project, static stability in all initial dewatering conditions, rapid drainage of the reservoir and earthquake occurrences are appropriate.
