Title : ( Investigating and Analyzing the Security of Women in Urban Space with an Emphasis on Participatory Approach (Case Study: Sajjad Neighborhood of Mashhad) )

Security is one of the necessities of human life so that since the beginning of history, the most time and cost in different societies have been devoted to security. One of the most important gender groups is the use of women\\\'s urban spaces. Attention to the needs of these people due to their physical and mental conditions can provide the basis for their greater and effective presence in urban spaces. In this regard, the present study aimed to identify the various factors affecting insecurity affecting women\\\'s security in the Sajjad neighborhood of Mashhad. This research is an applied research in terms of purpose and research method and correlation research have been used. The present research is applied in descriptiveanalytical way. The data were collected using documentary and field methods for women in the Sajjad area of Mashhad. Findings of the research show that in the case of the pickup and robbery, the average was 2.65, the number of home and vehicle theft was 2.95, the accident rate was 2.40 and the organizational oversight was 2.80. Also, T-test analysis showed no significant difference between the mean dimensions of the research.
