Abstract
Let A be a JBW-algebra with no abelian direct summand and let for a in A, U_a denote the quadratic operator defined by U_a(b) = 2a o (a o b) - a^2 o b for all b in A. We show that every bijection \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\phi from the positive cone of A onto the positive cone of a JBW-algebra B preserving the quadratic product, extends to a Jordan isomorphism from A onto B.
