Abstract
Twisted tapes involving edge cut twisted tapes, all have common geometric attributes that certain factors can establish: twist ratio, width ratio, and geometrical factor of cuts such as depth, width, premier, and area. These have been examined experimentally and numerically in the last several years. Each alteration, various cuts, has been assumed a particular case rather than to be numerical or experimental study. Using the artificial neural network (ANN) and a databank containing a broad range of computational and experimental results, or the combination of both, the current research foresaw the heat transfer and pressure drop features of various cut twisted tapes. Even with various cuts, the present work introduced universal and distinctive tools to support engineers in design and control systems. Compared to the numerical and experimental methods, the performance, the running time, and the generality of the model are magnificent, which to be concerned. Furthermore, sensitivity assessment is done to understand which input variable has more impact on the findings of the design.
