Abstract
A competition model of two competing species in population biology is studied. Our model a parametric family has a chaotic attractor A for which the basin of attraction is riddled. We verify the occurrence of riddling basin and blowout bifurcation by varying the normal parameter. The uncertainty exponent and the stability index are applied to quantify the degree of riddling basin.
