Abstract
We investigate the impact of fading correlation onthe performance of the doubly dirty fading multiple access chan-nel (MAC) with non-causally known side information at trans-mitters. Using Copula theory, we derive closed-form expressionsfor the outage probability (OP) and the coverage region underpositive/negative dependence conditions. We show that a positivedependence structure between the fading channel coefficientsis beneficial for the system performance, as it improves theOP and extends the coverage region compared to the case ofindependent fading. Conversely, a negative dependence structurehas a detrimental effect on both performance metrics.
