Abstract

In this work, modified magnetic carboxymethyl cellulose nanoparticles (MCMC) were prepared and used as support for microbial transglutaminase (MTGase) immobilization. The specific activity of immobilized MTGase increased than that of free MTGase and also immobilized MTGase exhibited higher stability than free enzyme. The developed composites may be utilized as excellent matrix for enzyme immobilization in industrial applications.
