چکیده

In this study, zinc oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by aqueous extract of Foeniculum vulgare plant seeds which has abundant antioxidant properties, with green synthesis method and by ultrasonic waves. Green synthesis is superior to chemical and physical methods due to its advantages such as being eco-friendly. Zinc oxide nanoparticles have various properties including antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and even anti-cancer and are also used in various industries. For the NP synthesis, zinc nitrate with the plant extract was incubated at 28 ° C for 24 hours. ZnO nanoparticle formation was confirmed by analyzes such as UV-Vis, XRD and FE-SEM. The results indicated the presence of adsorption peak of zinc oxide nanoparticles at 231 nm. Also, debye-scherrer formula showed that the average size of nanoparticles in XRD analysis was 34.54 nm and according to the Field emission scanning electron microscope results, the hexagonal shapes of the nanoparticles were well seen. In this study, zinc oxide nanoparticles were produced by using the aqueous extract of the Foeniculum vulgare plant seeds.
