World’s population has strongly risen in the previous decades and this increase has not been symmetrical in urban and rural areas. Most of the rural population has migrated to the urban and pre-urban areas and this mitigation has been simultaneous with an intense land use change. The long-term effects of these changes have resulted in a loss of natural and green spaces in the cities which caused environmental and socio-economic problems. On the other hand, one of the major challenges of the current century is to produce sustainable food for a growing population. Urban agriculture may be one of the solutions for this challenges. Therefore, our study aimed to identify sustainability objectives of an intra-urban farm. The farm was located in Chehelbaze Park in Mashhad and managed based on community farm model. Four set of objectives related to environmental impacts, economic aspects, food production and social aspects were evaluated. The results indicated that social and agro-environmental criteria were more important than economic aspects for urban growers. Overall, urban agriculture could effectively influence on community resilience in cities and help in achieving the sustainable development goals.
