Myostatin (MSTN), a TGF-group protein, inhibits the development and differentiation of skeletal muscle. Uncertainty persists regarding the method by which total deletion of MSTN regulates muscle cell hyperproliferation. To identify effective genes during myostatin gene expression inhibition in C2C12 muscle cells, mRNA expression data was employed in this investigation. The differential expression data of genes were obtained using the R software, Lima package, and then the gene network was shown using Cytoscape. The findings demonstrated the strong relationship between the myostatin gene and the genes ACTB, LTGB1, FYN, Rem1, Mapk1, and Cd44 during expression inhibition. Additionally, the molecular pathways involving titin binding, muscle structural components, and the binding of significant transcriptional coactivators were identified, and these were also supported by other studies. These biological pathways included those for the Detection of muscle stretch, the Regulation of muscle filament sliding, the Regulation of twitch skeletal muscle contraction, and the skeletal muscle satellite cell differentiation.
