Abstract

In this article, we have investigated growth path, stabilities, and structures of formed Au nanoclusters during the gas phase process with different environments (water and Ar) in the presence of external electric and magnetic fields using molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. Our results showed that the number of the formed cluster increases by applying the strong magnetization. By increasing the concentration of water in 50% H2O–50% Ar and in 100% H2O environments and applying a magnetic field, the hollow porous (HP) nanoparticles are created, which can be considered as a new method for the formation of HP nanoparticles. Applying the stronger magnetic field increase the rate of formation of HP nanoparticles at larger simulation times. The number of HP nanoparticles also increases in the presence of strong and weak electric fields by increasing the concentration of water in the environment.
