In order to investigate of Shishtu Formation corals, the Type-section of it (in Northern part of Tabas Block) was selected. After the studied of more than 100 thin sections of coral fossils, we identified 9 species belong to 7 genera of roguse and tabulate corals. These corals are included: Amplexus coralloides Sowerby, 1814; Amplexizaphrentis sp., Claviphyllum falcatum Flügel, 1991, Claviphyllum weyeri Flügel, 1991, Pseudowannerophyllum differnes Flügel, 1975, Rotiphyllum rushianum rushianum Vaughan, 1908, Rotiphyllum rushianum major Flügel, 1991, Ufimia sp., Michelinia sp. The genus of Amplexizaphrentis and Michelinia are described from Shishtu Fm., for the first time. These corals are rich Cyathaxonia fauna assemblage that indicate of small undissepimented solitary rugose corals. There are few tabulate corals that small belong to cerioid colony of Michelinia. According appearance of these corals, the age of this parts of Shishtu Fm., that contain of corals fossil, is Late Visean. The coral assemblage is equivalent of the Belgian substage of Early Warnantian = Early V3c or equivalent to the British substage of Early Brigantian (D2).
