چکیده
The research, which for first time have been study of coral fossils in Khan formation. There are rather than coral fossils that occurs in the Middle parts of Khan Formation in Rahdar section (Kalmard Mountains). It includes cerioid colonies of Wentzellophyllum kueichowense pauciseptatum and fasciculate colonies of Waagenophyllum sp., The age of this fauna is Lower Permian (Upper Sakmarian). Based on comparison of this fauna with palaeobiogeographical province in Permian, This Assemblage are belonging to distinct Tethyan realm that characterized by waagenophyllids fauna, which was Only confined to tropical latitudes of 35 degrees and lived in the turbulent shallow water. predominance of colonical cerioid corals, in this biozone, indicates of turbulent parts of litoral zone. This community constituted of many Patch Reefs in paleoenvironment
