‎In this paper we introduce some classes of groups which are $ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\mathcal{V} $-closed‎, ‎where $\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\mathcal{V}$ is an arbitrary variety of groups‎. ‎In particular‎, ‎we show that the class of locally nilpotent‎, ‎locally soluble‎, ‎locally finite by nilpotent‎, ‎locally finite by soluble‎, ‎locally nilpotent by finite and locally soluble by finite groups are $ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\mathcal{V} $-closed‎.
