Title : ( Spectroscopic study of [(C2H5)(C6H5)(S)-(–)CHNH3][(C6H5)(NC5H4NH)P(O)(O)] )

Abstract
A two-step reaction of (C6H5)P(O)Cl2 with NC5H4NH2 and NH2-(S)-(–)CH(C2H5)(C6H5) in the presence of an HCl scavenger (N(C2H5)3) yielded [(C2H5)(C6H5)(S)-(–)CHNH3][(C6H5)(NC5H4NH)P(O)(O)]. In the 13 C{1H}-NMR spectrum, some phosphorus-carbon couplings were observed (nJCP , n = 1, 2 and 3 for the phenyl group directly attached to phosphorus and 2JCP for amino-pyridinyl fragment). The main topics related to 31P{1H}-NMR, 1H-NMR, 13C{1H}-NMR and IR were addressed.
