Abstract
Distribution network reconfiguration (DNR) is one of the most popular methods that power companies use to create a reliable structure for the distribution network (DN) in critical conditions. In this research, we have used DNR to minimize power losses (PL) and voltage deviation (VD). We did this using the Dueling Deep Q Network algorithm, which is an extended version of the Q-learning (QL) algorithm combined with deep learning to create a more efficient algorithm. The proposed method was implemented on an IEEE 33-bus DN under three loading types: light, nominal, and heavy loading.
