Abstract
In this study, magnetic copper nanoparticles supported on nickel ferrite, NiFe 2 O 4 @Cu, were prepared and evaluated for O-arylation of nitroarenes with phenols. The significant advantage of this reaction is the use of Cu-based magnetic nanoparti-cles, which are cost-effective, air-stable, and can be easily separated using an external magnet. The catalyst was successfully reused for five consecutive runs without significant loss of catalytic activity.
