Title : ( Hybrid Materials for Analytical Sample Preparation and Environmental Remediation: Insights Inspired by the 2025 Nobel Prize )

To help ensure a prosperous future for the next generations, academia and industry need to transform the way they plan and execute the construction of novel materials to make them more efficient, environmentally sustainable, and have the potential for technology readiness levels (TRLs). In particular, hybrid materials such as polyoxometalate (POM)-based materials, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs) etc. have great potential to outperform other materials and revolutionize various fields of applications [1, 2]. Although great success has been achieved in the application of hybrid materials in energy, biomedicine, analytical sample preparation, and environmental remediation, there are some gaps in this field. As industries transition towards circular economy principles, it is critical to develop environmentally friendly synthesis routes that minimize solvent use, energy consumption, and waste generation. Additionally, research into the regeneration, reuse, and recyclability of hybrid materials will be crucial for ensuring long-term sustainability [3,4]. This will provide significant motivation for scientists and researchers to take a serious step towards developing reticular chemistry, hybrid materials, and addressing current challenges after the 2025 Nobel Prize.
