\"FORTH at a glance\" aims to introduce some aspects of computer language FORTH. As the paper is primarily intended for engineers rather than computer professionals, the focus is mostly on the engineering applications. However, people with other areas of expertise may also find some applications of FORTH in their area of interest, A brief introduction of the FORTH language is given as well as a sample code. Some applications of the FORTH, particularly in engineering design, is illustrated to show its powerful attributes as an interfacing tool, In addition, an outline for an engineering application of the FORTH language and interface course is proposed.
