To generate the FE model; nodes are positioned at the site of carbon atoms and the bonds between them are modeled using 3D elastic beam elements. The elastic moduli of beam elements are determined by linking the methods of molecular dynamics and continuum mechanics. In order to demonstrate the performance of the FE model; the effects of tube diameter and wall thickness on the elastic moduli of SWCNTs are investigated.},
