Abstract

Insulin resistance is defined as the reduced of cells or tissues to respond to the physiological levels of insulin. The level of glycosylation and oxidative stress has been increased in the insulin resistance state. It has been shown that insulin resistance is associated with an increased relative risk for Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Shollat and garlic have antioxidant effects. In this study, we investigate the effect of shllot and garlic on spatial memory in insulin resistanc rats.
