Abstract. In this paper we consider a di®erential-algebraic approach for solving nonlinear convex programming problems. The paper shows that the di®erential-algebraic approach is guaranteed to generate optimal solutions to nonlinear convex programming problems. The numerical results in this paper demonstrate that the proposed approach provides a promising alternative for solving nonlinear convex programming problems.
