Medicinal pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo convar. styriaca) is an important annual plant that belongs to Cucurbitaceae family. The seeds of this plant which are used to cure the prostatic hypertrophy and urinary (tract irritation), contain fatty oil, carotenoids and E vitamin and Zn as important nutritional element. The effect of foliar application of Zn, B and N with 3 × 1000 content on growth, development, seed yield and oil seed were examined. The treatments applied at three stages of the plant growth (five leaves stage, flowering and fruit set). The result indicated that the foliar application increased amount of Zn and B in leaves but the nitrogen leaves content was not influenced. The male : female ratio increased by foliar application. The node number of male flowers decreased by foliar application. The fruit weight and the seed dry weight increased by foliar application. The results indicated that there were not significant different between all treatments on protein content of the seeds. But the Zn content of seeds increased by foliar application. The oil seed content was not influenced by foliar application.
