Abstract
Abstract. This paper is addresses the bifurcation analysis for anisotropic materials based on the Hill 48 yield function. The power law strain hardening and isotropic hardening are utilized and the equilibrium equations of a pointed vertex on subsequent yield loci are solved. The resulted relations are employed in a developed program to predict the entire FLD. For the aforementioned condition, the equations of Swift’s equations are derived and the diffuse necking limit strains are calculated. Moreover, the effects of anisotropic coefficients on FLD are also investigated. The obtained results are compared with M-K and ductile fracture criterion method data published in literature.
