Abstract
An analytical method is developed for the analysis of annular sector plates. The extended Kantorovich method (EKM) within the framework of first-order shear deformation theory is utilized to convert governing PDEs to two sets of ODE and then solving them analytically using state-space method in an iterative manner until desired convergence is achieved. Various boundary conditions are considered and results are validated using finite element method as well as other published results. It is found that the presented method has high convergence rate as well as sufficient accuracy in all cases.
