Abstract
An e-contract is a contract which is modelled, specified, executed and enacted by computer. E-contracting using workflow software and other toolkits have been generally utilized, albeit with significant human involvement. In order to eliminate manual efforts and errors; and for generic fulfilment of e-contracts, the application should be specified. In this paper, a customized framework for an energy conversion contract, in electronic form, is presented. It translates the definitions and requirements of the contract into electronic databases that enables rapid search for information as well as versatile report generation. In addition, automatic updating and effective monitoring of the contract progress can be enhanced.
