Following our previous works about phosphorus compounds containing C(O)NHP(O) moiety such as P(O)[NHC(O)C6H4(4-NO2)][NHC6H11]2, we report here on the synthesis of a new phosphoramidate, CCl2HC(O)NHP(O)[N(CH3)(C6H11)]2. Characterization was done by 1H, 13C and 31P{1H} NMR and IR spectroscopies and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The phosphorus atom in this structure has slightly distorted tetrahedral configuration. The bond angles around P atom are in the range of 99.79(9)°-118.18(9)°. The P=O band length of 1.474(2) Å is longer than the normal P=O band length (1.45) Å and the P-Namine bond lengths are shorter than the P-Namide bond lengths. Moreover, the nitrogen atoms are practically planar. Sum of the surrounding angles around N1 and N2 atoms are 359.5° and 353.4°, respectively and the P-N3-C3 angle is 123.33(14)° .The molecule exists as an extended hydrogen-bonded chain which is produced by intermolecular –P=O…H-N- hydrogen bonds.
