Abstract

In the current study, the Nusselt number performance of a Two-Phase Closed Thermosyphon (TPCT) has been investigated using functionalized carbon nanotube (CNT) with ethylene diamine (EDA) suspension. After synthesis of CNT-EDA/Water nanofluid with various weight fractions, the experiments were done for input power of 30 to 90W. Thermal conductivity of nanofluid was obtained by Xue equation that is the most important parameter for calculating the Nusselt number. The results suggested that increasing input power and weight concentration were respectively increased and decreased Nusselt number.
