Abstract
The nanofluids of nanodiamond in EO were fabricated by dispersing nanodiamond at different volume fractions in engine oil by utilizing a horn type ultrasound processor. The volume concentration of nanodiamond–engine oil are in the range from 0.3- 0.8%. The thermal conductivity of prepared ND-engine oil fluids were measured at 50 o C to 90 o C. It can be observed that thermal conductivity of the prepared nanofluids increase with increasing volume fraction of NDs and rasing temperatures.
