Rashid al din and Caucasus Dr.Javad Abbasi Khaje Rashid al din Fazlollahe Hamadani as an outstanding vizir,rich reformist and at the same time a famous historian,had a main role in reconstruction of Iran under the Ilkhanid rule.As a stateman he was a high rank advisor and desition-maker for all over the Ilkhanid realm with a reformist viewpoint.Also he sometimes interfered in military affairs.There are some records about his attention to Caucasus in this atmosphere.As an example he recommended to prevent mongol commonders from plundering Gorjestan during their expedition to Syria. Besides we can find some other things about his attitude related to Caucasus and it,s people in his works specially in Jame al Tavarikh.Peresent article is going to analyze and evaluate these records to clear his role and attitude about Caucasus.
