Abstract
In the literature of record set up, most of works have been done based on record data which are extracted sequentially. In this paper, we consider a new approach and called record ranked set sampling (RRSS). Model description of the proposed scheme is presented. Probability properties of RRSS are studied. Some distribution-free results are obtained.
