Abstract
In this paper, the maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) of stress-strength parameter is derived based on the upper record ranked set sampling (RRSS) from one-parameter exponential distribution. Also, some confidence intervals for stress-strength reliability based on upper RRSS are constructed and then compared on the basis of a simulation study.
