In this paper, we introduce a new Definition of positive dependence between two random variables X and Y. We show that if X and Y satisfy this definition, then the two random variables are positively correlated and the regression of X on Y, is increasing in y. We also investigate the relationship of this concept with the concept of positive likelihood ratio dependence (PLRD).
