Title : ( Reduction of sulfur components in the tail gas using oxygen concentration )
Abstract
In the sulfur recovery unit (SRU), H2S is converted to elemental sulfur. In this paper, SRU is simulated using TSWEET simulator. Moreover, in this paper, a new operating unit is added to the SRU and then the effect of oxygen concentration on the sulfur compounds in the air to the unit (in the four energy rate of the condenser (4)), including H2S and SO2 in the tailgas is investigated. In each four energy rate of Condenser (4), the concentration of H2S available at tailgas from 0.077 mole percent to near zero has reduced. However, with the increasing of the oxygen concentration in the air, the SO2 concentration has increased 21 mole percent, approximately.
