Abstract

Vehicle routing problem with time window constraints is an extension of the original vehicle routing problem. It is a well-known NP-hard problem which has several real- life applications. This paper presents simulated annealing metaheuristic for the vehicle routing problem with time windows based on GIS technology with case study on ”Farasooye Shargh” Company, to reduce transportation cost and therefore to improve its Logistics systems
