Abstract
The synthesis of new derivatives of 1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-3-one are reported through the treatment of ethyl 4-hydroxy-2-amino-pyrimidine-5-carboxylate 2a-c and few hydrazine derivatives under classical heating and microwave-induced synthesis. The antibacterial activities as MIC and MBC of these new synthesized compounds were evaluated comparable to chloramphenicol and streptomycin as reference drugs.
