Abstract
This workshop will show teachers how they can compile their own small classroom corpus and use it to teach writing in the second language classroom. Examples from a real corpus of learner essays will be used to introduce the kinds of questions that can be answered and how learners' awareness can be raised towards common mistakes and instances of misuse.
