Abstract
Direct ethanol fuel cells are regarded as attractive future power sources due to their high energy density, low pollutant emission, portable applications and etc. Recently, Pd-based catalysts especially Pd nanoparticles have been introduced as effective catalyst in ethanol electrooxidation reaction (EOR).Nowadays, graphene as a two-dimensional carbon material shows some exceptional properties for application as a support; among different types of loading metal nanoparticles on graphene, Polyoxometalates (POMs) assisted method has been used to prepare a nanocomposite of Pd and graphene. POMs, was applied to serve as both reducing and stabilizing agents.
