Background and Aim:The discovery of marine Streptomyces with antimicrobial activity caused marine Streptomyces considered as an important source to find new secondary metabolites. Recently discovery new compound from terrestrial Streptomyces had decreased. The goal was optimization carbon and nitrogen sources and their concentration to increase antimicrobial metabolites by Streptomyces ACS 135 isolated from Oman Sea. We hope the bioactive compound will be novel Methods:Agar well diffusion assay use to identify the optimize carbon and nitrogen sources and their concentration. In optimization of carbon and nitrogen sources use different materials. The carbon sources include glucose, starch, dextrin, glycerol and nitrogen sources contain soy pepton,tripton, yeast, malt, pepton and ammonium sulfate. We tried different concentration for each sources Results:According to the test, the suitable carbon sources is dextrin with concentration of 2% and the optimize nitrogen sources is tripton with concentration of 1.6%. We repeated every test in 3 times Conclusion:The result show after optimization diameter of inhibition zone doubled in compare of before it. Finally it demonstrated increasing production of bioactive metabolites by Streptomyces ACS135
