The current world of business is involved with various problems, one of which is the employees’ indifference toward organizations. Identifying the factors causing this phenomenon and its consequences for the management of organizations are regarded as major problems concerning the importance of human resources. Organizational indifference refers to a condition in which a member or a group of members are indifferent toward the realization or non-realization of organizational goals. Indifference can be considered as a dangerous disease for organizations; as a sick person cannot perform his daily tasks properly, an organization which suffers from indifference will also face a decline in its efficiency and will fail to achieve its goals. Therefore, identification of this phenomenon and its dimensions can help managers to prevent its incidence within their organization. This research used cognitive mapping and reviewed related articles to help organizations to identify the dimensions, causes, and consequences of organizational indifference and to provide them with solutions to better manage this phenomenon.
