Abstract
Recently, it has been shown by many authors that quantile functions are efficient and equivalent alternatives to distribution functions in modelling and analysis of statistical data. In this paper, the quantile function is recalled and then we obtain the quantile-based generalized dynamic cumulative past entropy. Some properties of GDCPQE and characterization based on it, are presented.
