Abstract

This article concerns an almost sure representation with rate for a new estimator of a survival function in the setting of length-biased and right-censored data. This representation will be the key to obtain the asymptotic properties including normality and the uniform consistency with rate of convergence for the kernel density estimator. Simulation study are drawn to illustrate the results and to show how the kernel estimator behaves for finite samples.
